2,024 Creole Bibles

November 1, 2024 by Ken MacGillivray

Partnership of Pastors International is a Word-centered ministry. We award a Thompson Chain Reference Bible to every church leader who successfully completes Course 1 – over 2000 Thompson Bibles to date. We then deepen pastors use of this study Bible in every subsequent PPI course. In addition, through our courses, we distribute Creole Bibles to church leaders for their churches. You can help us do that through our Spread the Word 2024 challenge.

We’re committed to getting Bibles to believers because God’s Word is living and powerful, liberating and life-changing. In the Scriptures, God gives us hope and answers to all that unravels our lives, families and societies. The problem is, Bibles are hard to get in Haiti, and if they can be found, they’re expensive. So many believers in Haiti do not own a Bible, not even one. We’re doing something about that!

In 2025, we plan to provide over 2000 Creole Bibles to Haitian churches through 12 PPI courses. (That’s in addition to awarding up to 450 Thompson Bibles in Course 1.) Will you help us do it? We invite you to take part in our special matching gifts challenge in November and December. We’re calling the challenge Spread the Word 2024, and our goal is to raise $40,000 to fund the purchase of at least 2,024 Creole Bibles by the end of this year, 2024.

This is where it gets exciting! Friends of PPI have committed $20,000 to match your donations to PPI dollar for dollar through December 31. In November and December, all gifts to PPI will be doubled until we reach the $40,000 goal. We would love to use all $20,000 of the matching funds to provide Bibles for churches in Haiti. We can accomplish this goal together!

Will you join the Spread the Word 2024 challenge? Please pray about and consider giving an over-and-above donation to PPI in November and December. This enables us to fund the purchase of 2,024 Creole Bibles by the end of this year. You can give toward Creole Bibles HERE. If you prefer, you can mail a check to Partnership of Pastors International, 465 Mayflower Dr, Saginaw, MI 48638. Be sure to note “Spread the Word 2024” in the memo line. All your donations in November and December will be doubled, and as always are eligible for tax deduction.

As the Lord enables each of us, let’s do this! GIVE HERE

Some Investment Advice

April 30, 2025 By Ken MacGillivray 2 Comments

I have some investment advice. It’s a sure thing, better than tech stocks, CDs or even gold. And it’s  simple: Lend to the Lord. He will repay whatever you loan Him with generous return. God inked that promissory note in Proverbs 19:17, “Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will […]
